New Beginnings Assembly Hall - West Frankfort, Illinois
WOW!!! What a night! AAPW has received some of the most positive feedback ever from last night’s event at New Beginnings Assembly in West Frankfort, IL. AAPW would like to thank all of you that attended and made this event so great.
With freezing temperatures outside, fans packed the New Beginnings Assembly gymnasium for a terrific night of wrestling action.
In the opening bout, "No Mercy" Tommy Mercer returned to AAPW and defeated Christian Rose
In the 2nd match of the evening, "Bad Boy" Chris Thomas picked up a victory over the rookie, A.T. Brooks
Fan favorite Curly defeated Xavier Cage in one of the most entertaining bouts on the card.
Heath Hatton debuted in West Frankfort bringing an entire cheering section. Hatton showed promise as he had a few brief spurts of offense over his much larger opponent, Carnage. However, it was not enough as Carnage gained the pinfall.
"The Rebel" Jeremy Wyatt made his return to AAPW and challenged "Serial Thriller" Shane Rich. Wyatt claimed he was the better wrestler and refused to admit defeat to Rich from earlier this year. As Rich approached the ring, he was attacked from behind by Mark Sterling. Wyatt and Sterling unmercifully beat Rich until Mike Sydal hit the ring and came to the aid of Rich. A tag team match was made pitting Sydal and Rich against Wyatt and Sterling. The match was long and brutal. Sydal ended getting the pin on Sterling winning the match for his team but the score between Wyatt and Rich appears to still be unsettled.
All American Pro Wrestling Tag Team Championship Match
AAPW tag team champions The Money Makin' Jam Boys (K.C. Jackson & Mississippi Madman) were originally set to defend against the team of Rage. However, AAPW took the grievances of former champs Old School Thunder (Ax Allwardt & "Thunderbolt" Brandon Walker) and The Convoy into consideration making the match a 4 way elimination match. Half way through the match, both teams of The Convoy and Old School Thunder were counted out as they brawled outside the ring. This left the defending champions and Rage. Rage pulled off a stunning victory to become the new AAPW tag team champions.
All American Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Championship Match
The match everyone came to see did not disappoint as #1 contender Edmund "Livewire" McGuire faced AAPW Champion Shawn Shultz. This match was back and forth with several near falls. In the end, "Livewire" fulfilled his dream defeating Shultz to become AAPW Champion.

Ryder will face Dirge at Fan's Choice
The Submission Squad will challenge Rage for the AAPW tag team titles

Edmund "Livewire" McGuire won the poll to face the champion. Since McGuire won the title, he will now face the runner up… the Mississippi Madman!
