"Homicidal" Steven Davis defeated Edmund "Livewire" McGuire in the Heavyweight Championship Tournament Finals to become the first ever AAPW Heavyweight Champion on August 19, 2007 at Carbondale Middle School. Since then, there have only been 5 wrestlers to ever hold the heavyweight championship.
