All American Pro Wrestling wrapped up the first season of "Collision" with this week's episode. The season saw many stories unfold, as Mike Masters sought alleged retribution against play-by-play announcer Kevin Hunsperger, AAPW Heavyweight Champion Edmund "Livewire" McGuire battled "Old School Warrior" Ax Allwardt and the tag team division saw some radical changes.

But the season wasn't over yet. This final episode delivered the fans a special treat in the form of the no-disqualification title match between McGuire and Allwardt from Jan. 14's "Main Event."

"Thee" Brandon Espinosa vs. "3G" Eric Wayne

From the get-go, the crowd jeered Wayne, taunting him with chants of "Erica." He didn't let it get to him too much, as he and Espinosa locked up in the middle of the ring. The two men fought with neither of them able to gain the early advantage.

Espinosa slipped while running the ropes, but Wayne couldn't capitalize. The two men were very well matched and had obviously scouted their respective opponents. In a test of strength, Wayne used a dirty break to gain control of the match, the first decisive advantage of the bout.

Wayne held onto his advantage, laying into Espinosa with everything he had, from strikes and kicks to power moves. But none of it was enough to keep Espinosa down.

Espinosa managed to land on his feet after a release suplex, and momentum swayed in his favor. It would only be short-lived, however, as "3G" regained control. He began taunting Espinosa, getting a little cocky. It may have cost Wayne, as Espinosa mounted a comeback, unleashing a flurry of offense onto the third-generation star.

Wayne reversed a leap by Espinosa into his signature Death Valley Driver, but Espinosa managed to get his foot onto the ropes. Both men fought fatigue to continue on, and Espinosa found the strength to nail a top-rope hurricarana. But not even that could keep Wayne down for the three count.

In the end, it was a belly-to-back suplex by "3G" that ended this contest. The wear and tear this match took on both men was apparent by the end.

Result: "3G" Eric Wayne d. "Thee" Brandon Espinosa

"Golden Boy" Greg Anthony vs. Justice

For weeks, promos on "Collision" have been hyping the debut of Justice, and when the sounds of a revving Harley Davidson made their way through the curtain, the crowd instantly cheered for the arrival of the new star.

The two men started the match with a lock-up, and Anthony quickly resorted to his usual underhanded tactics. But Justice would have none of it, as he laid out "Golden Boy" with a big clothesline, knocking him to the outside.

Anthony spent several minutes stalling, obviously not sure what to make of the newcomer. Justice would maintain his advantage, but a sly move using the top rope would shift momentum to Anthony's control.

"Golden Boy" used his own power to wear Justice down, unleashing a burst of elbows and axe-handles before attempting a camel clutch. Justice fought back, though, and returned the favor with a big clothesline in the corner and a big boot.

Anthony went outside and grabbed a chair, but his perennial rival Heath Hatton arrived at ringside to take the weapon out of the equation. The distraction allowed Justice to hit his signature pump-handle slam, giving Justice the win in his "Collision" debut.

Result: Justice d. "Golden Boy" Greg Anthony

And with that, "Collision" arrived at the climax, the final match of Season One. Nothing could more fitting to have that honor than the AAPW Heavyweight Championship bout between Edmund "Livewire" McGuire and "Old School Warrior" Ax Allwardt from Jan. 14's "Main Event."

AAPW Heavyweight Championship Match - No Disqualification
Edmund "Livewire" McGuire (c) vs. "Old School Warrior" Ax Allwardt

The hatred between these two competitors was obvious from the get-go, and Allwardt and his manager Gaylord Stevens quickly took advantage of the no-disqualification stipulation to double-team the champ.

McGuire has spent several years wrestling in the heavyweight division, but he hasn't forgotten his cruiserweight roots, as he demonstrated with some agile flips and dives early in the contest.

"Livewire" brought the championship belt into the match, showing off more of a mean streak than usual, just another showing of the animosity between these two competitors, who have battled all year.

With Stevens back in the mix of things, Allwardt managed to regain control, but it wouldn't last long as the two men brawled all over the ring. Allwardt used Stevens' belt to whip the champ while he was down. A reversal of fortune, however, would put "The Old School Warrior" on the belt's receiving end.

Upset with the officiating, Allwardt assaulted not only one, but two, referees. He'd then pull a third ref in front of one of McGuire's patented superkicks.

The fight spilled to the outside of the ring, where Allwardt threw a bottle of water in McGuire's face. The champ, however, would be undeterred, as he took Stevens' umbrella and used it to beat his challenger.

A distraction from Stevens allowed Allwardt to hit his finishing move, a devastating piledriver, but McGuire managed to kick out.

Stevens went to the outside, where he demanded a chair from Executive Producer Chris Hagstrom. When Hagstrom refused, Stevens slapped him across his face. Hagstrom then reluctantly gave up the chair.

Allwardt attempted a piledriver on the chair, but "Livewire" reversed it into a backdrop and landed his signature superkick. As Stevens got in the ring, he, too, ate a superkick before McGuire delivered a round of seconds to Allwardt. That allowed the champ to pick up the pinfall and retain his AAPW Heavyweight Championship.

Result: AAPW Heavyweight Champion Edmund "Livewire" McGuire d. "Old School Warrior" Ax Allwardt
