NEWS

Update on The Future of AAPW

In the wake of "Zero Hour," the backstage area became deathly quiet. No one in the locker room knew what to say of the events that transpired during the main event. People were asking questions about the future of the company.

With Executive Producer Chris Hagstrom not at the venue, Marketing Director Adam Testa tried to get answers from owner Sean Chambers. Chambers would not address the situation. Chambers told Testa he didn't have to answer to anyone else. These events were caught on camera and will be released soon.

Following the event, Testa contacted Hagstrom about the events of "Zero Hour" and how the company would handle situation. Hagstrom in turn submitted this statement for publication on this website.

"Since last year, I have done everything in my power to give the fans of All American Pro Wrestling what they've wanted to see. I've arranged for international superstars like PAC, El Generico, Matt Cross and Colt Cabana to come to Southern Illinois and provide entertainment for the fans.

It hasn't always been easy, but I knew it wouldn't be. Then the night of Sept. 22 came along. While in the ring for the contract signing for the Heavyweight Championship match at "Zero Hour," Mike Masters pulled me into harm's way, injuring me and taking me away from the company I love so much.

I wanted nothing more than to see Masters get what was coming to him at "Zero Hour," but given everything that had happened, I couldn't bring myself to be at the show. I feel as if I had a great night robbed from me. I'm thrilled that Edmund has regained the title and that this company once again has a champion we can be proud of.

But it was the events of that title match that have brought other questions to the forefront. When Adam told me of Sean's involvement in the match, I wish I could say I was surprised. Sean did what he felt was best for Edmund's safety at "Summer Chaos," and, while skeptical, I bought into his reasoning.

Now, this, I have no explanation for. Sean isn't responding to my messages. He won't address the situation. All I've heard from him has been a text message saying "Fan Fest is canceled." My heart hit the ground. Last year, I started Fan Fest as a way of saying thank you to the fans for their support through the year. It was the one night where we could all cut back and have fun.

Now we won't have that opportunity. I personally apologize to all the fans; I know many of you have been vocal in the last 24 hours about your disappointment with the cancellation, but this situation is beyond my control. I promise to do everything in my power to make this up to you, the fans who helped us turn AAPW into a national player on the independent wrestling scene.

Season Three will be the biggest year for AAPW yet, and it will all begin on Saturday, Jan. 19, at SIU Student Center in Carbondale. We have a new venue, which we think will enable us to share the great wrestling you're all used to with a new audience of SIU students. We appreciate everything Black Diamond Harley-Davidson has done for us through the past 18 months, but this change will only help us grow.

I offer my sincerest apologies for the cancellation of Fan Fest and I will continue to do everything in my power to find out what led to this unfortunate decision. I hope you will continue to support AAPW as we will be releasing new and unreleased content through the next two months.

Thank you again for all your support. I hope to see you in January."

Chris Hagstrom
AAPW Executive Producer

Fan Fest Cancelled

BREAKING NEWS: We at the AAPW office are disappointed to announce that Fan Fest, scheduled for Nov. 10 at the SIU Student Center, has been canceled. More details on the situation will be available this week at aapwrestling.com, but we wanted to get the news out as soon as possible.

We ask your help in letting others know about the cancellation. AAPW will return with the third season premiere of "Collision" in January. We apologize for any inconveniences and look forward to seeing you again live next year.

Battle Royale Set for October 20

Picture
Ten men will enter; only one will win. At "Zero Hour" on Oct. 20, it will be a Rumble-style battle royale, with a new competitors entering the match every 30 seconds. Confirmed entrants in the match include "Farmer" Billy Hills, Chocolate Thunder, Justice, Truk Thompson, Roscoe Dwayne Harris and Jimmy Wayne Faygo.

The other four spots remain open, though rumors are a certain "philanthropist" has procured two of the spots for his "clients." Who will emerge victorious in this rumble? That remains to be seen, but whoever comes out on top will certainly have a claim to big opportunities in the future.

Tag Team Title Ladder Match Signed for Zero Hour

Picture
It all began with a fateful cheap shot at one of the AAPW Tag Team Championship belts. It's become a war. The issues between Matt Cage and Christian Rose of Team Overkill and Brandon Espinosa and Ace Hawkins have transcended the desire to be champions.

At every turn, Cage and Rose have used underhanded tactics - often involving the title belts - to neutralize Hawkins and Espinosa. But at "Zero Hour" on Oct. 20, the belts will hang above the ring. The only way to win the match is to set up a ladder, climb it and pull the belts down.

With their favorite weapons out of the equation, can Team Overkill find a way to hold on to their gold, or will Espinosa and Hawkins finally get the gold that has evaded them?

Castle & Sykes Fight For Footing on October 20

Picture
Two men who have struggled to find their footing in AAPW will face off one-on-one at "Zero Hour" on Oct. 20. Alex Castle introduced a new manager, Angelus Layne, as his good luck charm and scored his first win in the company.

Kyle Sykes has had an up-and-down run, most notably scoring a big win alongside "Farmer" Billy Hills and Matt Cross at "Summer Chaos." Both of these men are looking to keep momentum moving forward, but only one will add another win to their record at "Zero Hour."

Battle of the Big Men Signed for Zero Hour

Picture
Bull Bronson has run rampant over the AAPW locker room, but he's never had to face an opponent like the Mississippi Madman in singles competition. That changes at our sixth anniversary showcase, "Zero Hour," on Oct. 20.

Bronson has been the one to back down each time he and Madman have found themselves in a stare down, and he promises on Oct. 20, he'll be the one walking away once again, as Madman won't be able to.

Who will be victorious in this battle of the big men?

First Ever No Limits Championship Match on Oct 20

Picture
This is it - history in the making for AAPW. At "Zero Hour" on Oct. 20, the first-ever AAPW No Limits Champion will be crowned.

Joey O'Riley and KC Jackson have fought tooth-and-nail to climb their way through the tournament.

Both men are fan favorites, and they represent two very different styles of wrestling, but only one man will walk away with the gold.

Will it be the ring technician Jackson or the high-flyer O'Riley? Find out at "Zero Hour."

Executive Producer Chris Hagstrom suffers concussion, orbital bone injury

All American Pro Wrestling Executive Producer Chris Hagstrom has been released from the hospital following an incident at the Saturday, Sept. 22, "Collision" taping.

Hagstrom was inadvertently struck by Edmund "Livewire" McGuire during a contract signing for the AAPW Heavyweight Championship match between McGuire and champion Mike Masters.

Reviewing the tape told AAPW officials the whole story, and the incident is under review. Owner Sean Chambers said he has no comment at this time.

The footage of the contract signing will be released on Episode 24 of "Collision," which debuts Oct. 6.

Hagstrom was taken by ambulance to a local hospital following the incident. He was diagnosed as having suffered a concussion and re-aggravated a pre-existing orbital bone injury.

On Sunday morning, Hagstrom told AAPW officials that he's still in a tremendous amount of pain and that while he graciously accepts the well wishes of all the fans, he plans to remain out of the public eye for the time being.

He also wanted to thank the fans for their continued support of AAPW and express ensure them there will be retribution for the responsible party.

Everyone in the AAPW office and locker room send their thoughts and best wishes to our friend and colleague as he recovers.

AAPW returns to action Oct. 20 for "Zero Hour," our sixth-anniversary event, and a benefit for the American Cancer Society. Stay tuned for more details.

"Livewire" vs Castle set for Collision

Picture
Edmund "Livewire" McGuire won the right to be named the number-one contender to the AAPW Heavyweight Championship on the most recent episode of "Collision."

Alex Castle, meanwhile, picked up his first win on "All-Access" with a little help from his new good luck charm, Angelus Layne.

On Sept. 22, they face off in the ring. Will Layne be in Castle's corner to give him a little more luck, or will McGuire ride a wave of momentum into "Zero Hour" on Oct. 20?

We'll know on Sept. 22. — at Black Diamond Harley-Davidson

No Limits Tag Team Match Set for Saturday

Picture
On Oct. 20, KC Jackson and Joey O'Riley go one-on-one to crown the first-ever No Limits Champion.

But on Saturday, Sept. 22, they will be teaming together to face the returning Sean Vincent and Blake Steel.

Jackson's deadly heel hook took Vincent out of action at "Summer Chaos," and the Canadian star isn't happy about sacrificing his spot in the tournament. He'll be looking for revenge, while Steel is looking to continue making a name for himself in AAPW.

Can Jackson and O'Riley keep their calm and work together against a common foe, or will their desire for gold cause friction in the ranks?

A Look At The Historic NWA World's Heavyweight Championship Match Set For Sept. 22

All American Pro Wrestling will make history on Sept. 22.

For the first time in modern history, if not ever, the NWA World's Heavyweight Championship will be defended in Southern Illinois.

AAPW's own Heath Hatton will challenge five-time champion Adam Pearce for the legendary title at the Sept. 22 "Collision" taping.

Hatton has been a star on the rise in recent years, and he set out to make 2012 his breakout year. It began at "Main Event" in January with a win over rival "Golden Boy" Greg Anthony and the momentum hasn't stopped.

When Season Two of "Collision" began, Hatton found himself on the bad side of "Old School Warrior" Ax Allwardt. The two have made their issues very public in recent months, but Hatton emerged the victor in their only match, which took place at June's "Summer Chaos."

April was a banner month for Hatton. He challenged then-Heavyweight Champion Edmund "Livewire" McGuire for AAPW's top prize in front of a hometown crowd at the Hands Across Harrisburg benefit show and made an appearance on WWE's "Extreme Rules" pay-per-view alongside AAPW star Ace Hawkins.

When Hatton heard that Pearce, a Chicago native now living in California, was coming to AAPW, he challenged Pearce to a match. When Pearce successfully defended the NWA world title in August, ensuring he would be the champion on Sept. 22, Hatton once again called out Pearce, wanting the title to be put on the line. Pearce accepted the challenge.

Pearce is currently embroiled in a "Seven Levels of Hate" series with rival Colt Cabana, who appeared for AAPW at "Main Event in January" and returns for Oct. 20's "Zero Hour." The two men have battled in all types of matches across the country.

One must question whether Pearce is focused too much on the rivalry with Cabana and overlooking or underestimating Hatton. The AAPW star has been increasing his training regimen to prepare for what he's calling the biggest match of his career.

On Sept. 22, Hatton will have his opportunity to add his name to the list of men who have held the NWA's top prize, a list that includes legends like Buddy Rogers, Ric Flair and Harley Race, as well as more contemporary stars like WWE's Christian and R-Truth and TNA Wrestling star A.J. Styles.

The show begins at 7 p.m. at the Black Diamond Harley-Davidson Warehouse in Marion, Ill. Tickets are $10 for adults or $8 for kids, and veterans are admitted free. Fans can also save $2 per ticket by bringing a canned good or non-perishable food item to be donated to the Marion Ministerial Alliance.

For more information about this once-in-a-lifetime match and more, visit aapwrestling.com.

Another Match Announced for Sept. 22

Picture
The issues between Brandon Espinosa and Ace Hawkins, formerly known as Minor Threat, and Matt Cage and Christian Rose of Team Overkill remain unresolved.

Previously on "Collision," Espinosa defeated Cage and Rose defeated Hawkins in singles matches.

Now, the victors of those two bouts meet one on one Sept. 22.

Will more than bragging rights be at stake in this contest? Be there to find out.

New Match Announced for Collision Taping

Picture
Both Justice and "Old School Warrior" Ax Allwardt suffered losses at "Summer Chaos" and are looking to get back on the winning side of the record books.

But on Sept. 22, only one of them will be able to emerge the victor, as these two brawlers face off one on one.

Will Justice be served or will the Old School Warrior walk away with the win?

New Stipulation for NWA World's Heavweight Title Match Between Heath Hatton and Adam Pearce

Picture
When Heath Hatton challenges Adam Pearce for the NWA World's Heavyweight Championship, AAPW officials want to ensure a fair contest.

With that in mind, they have decreed that "Old School Warrior" Ax Allwardt, Hatton's current rival, will be banned from ringside. If Allwardt so much as appears at ringside during the match, he will be fired immediately from AAPW.

Hatton has earned this opportunity on his own merits, and AAPW officials will not let anyone ruin his moment.

No Limits Tournament Bracket

Picture
Have you been following the No Limits Tournament on "Collision?"

Next Saturday, you'll see the second semi-final contest pitting Team XXX partners Jay Spade and Joey O'Riley against each other.

But first, this weekend, see what happens when the high-flying duo matches up with the brute force of The Convoy on All-Access.

And remember, you can always watch the No Limits Tournament in its entirety on our YouTube page by clicking here.

Women's Match Added to Collision Taping

Picture
The women's division in AAPW has been picking up steam in recent months, and that will continue at this Saturday's "Collision" taping.

The Great Cheyenne defeated Serenity at "Summer Chaos," while Rebecca Raze was last seen at "Main Event" in a losing effort against Stacey O'Brien.

Now, these two women will collide in the ring, and only one will be able to emerge victorious. Can Cheyenne continue to establish a reign of dominance, or will Raze avenge the loss she suffered in January?

War of Words Leads to Match on August 18

Picture
Last week, on the AAPW Facebook page, there was a war of words between 'Farmer' Billy Hills and Bull Bronson.

While both men are worthy contenders for the AAPW Heavyweight Championship, company officials have decided that they will be removed from contention for the title and placed in a singles match against each other.

Only one man will truly be able to put his money where his mouth is, but will it be the monstrous Bronson or the fan favorite Farmer? Find out Aug. 18.

What's Next For Team Overkill & Espy/Ace?

Picture
The issues between Matt Cage and Christian Rose of Team Overkill and Brandon Espinosa and Ace Hawkins have been no secret.

Driven by the spirit of competition and the desire to be the top team in the country, both duos have committed to fighting with every ounce of their being to reign as champions in AAPW.

Where will the roads of battle lead these teams Aug. 18? Be in Marion to find out.

Fan Fest 2012 Announced for November

Picture
All American Pro Wrestling prides itself on being the best professional wresting organization in the region and offering an unparalleled experience.

But the truth of the matter is that none of it would be possible without the fans. Without the support of a growing, loyal, rabid fanbase, AAPW would be nowhere near what it is today.

On Saturday, Nov. 10, AAPW says thank you and caps off a milestone year with the second annual Fan Fest event. And they're even taking the show on the road, as this year's fan-driven showcase will emanate from Student Center Ballroom at SIU Carbondale.

For more details on Fan Fest 2012, click here.

Who is the No. 1 Contender?

Picture
AAPW officials are still trying to determine who should be awarded an AAPW Heavyweight Championship match at the Aug. 18 "Collision" taping.

These five men have each staked their claim, and each with valid reason.

But only one of them will receive the title shot. Who do you think deserves it the most?

Tag Team Partners to Face Off August 18

Picture
Team Triple X partners Joey O'Riley and Jay Spade haven't exactly been on the same page in recent months, and a series of miscommunications have cost the duo a number of matches.

O'Riley has emerged looking like the aggressor, but it's clear both men have their eyes set on the new No Limits Championship. But only one man can advance to the finals, and at the Aug. 18 "Collision" taping, we'll find out who it will be.

Will it be Spade or O'Riley advancing - and what will the outcome mean for the future of Team Triple X?

AAPW Stars Return July 21

Picture
Four of the biggest, baddest men in the AAPW locker room return to action this Saturday.

The Convoy have been absent for a while, but they're coming back angrier than ever.

Speaking of anger, "Old School Warrior" Ax Allwardt is still fuming about his "Summer Chaos" loss to Heath Hatton.

On the other side of things, Truk Thompson is smiling wide, as his undefeated streak in AAPW continues. What's in store for these four men? Find out this Saturday.

More Announced for Collision Taping

Picture
Three more fan favorites have officially been confirmed for this Saturday's event.

All three are coming off strong showings at "Summer Chaos," where "Farmer" Billy Hills teamed with Matt Cross and Kyle Sykes in a victorious effort, Heath Hatton put down rival Ax Allwardt and the Mississippi Madman seemingly challenged the undefeated Bull Bronson.

What will happen next? Be there Saturday to find out.

Singles Matches for Tag Teams Announced

Picture
At "Summer Chaos," Team Overkill and Minor Threat met in a memorable tag team title match.

Now we can confirm that all four men will be in action at our July 21 "Collision" taping.

Their matches have yet to be announced, but given the shady circumstances of Team Overkill's victory, Minor Threat are surely looking for vengeance.

Final Match Announced for Summer Chaos

Picture
The final match for this Saturday's "Summer Chaos" is a big one - quite literally. No one has been able to pin or submit either Bull Bronson or Justice since they debuted in AAPW.

That will change this weekend, as only one of these men can emerge victorious. They came to blows on Episode 19 of "Collision," and at "Summer Chaos," they will fight to see who truly is the better man.

For details on this match and the entire card, click here.

Six-Man Tag Team Showcase Announced

Picture
Our second-to-last match announcement for "Summer Chaos" is a special six-man tag team showcase. Mark Sterling has recruited Sir Bradley Charles and Chase King to join him in this match against Kyle Sykes and guest stars Greg Iron and Matt Cross.

This isn't a match about rivalries and hatred; this is an opportunity for any number of individuals - most notably the young Sykes - to rise to the occasion and prove themselves to the fans.

For more information on this and other matches, click here.

No Limits Fatal 4-Way at Summer Chaos

Picture
The first round of the No Limits Tournament is complete, and four semi-finalists have been determined. At Summer Chaos, they will compete in a one-fall-to-the-finish fatal fourway match! It will be Jay Spade vs. Joey O'Riley vs. KC Jackson vs. Sean Vincent.

So many questions exist: Can Team XXX work together despite recent tension? Will the three fan favorites team up to take out the arrogant Vincent? Who will gain a major burst of momentum heading into the semis? Only time will tell on June 30.

For more information on this and other matches, click here.

Tag Team Titles On The Line June 30

Picture
The AAPW Tag Team titles will be on the line at "Summer Chaos," as champions Matt Cage and Christian Rose of Team Overkill face Brandon Espinosa and Ace Hawkins of Minor Threat.

The champs hold victories over the Money Makin' Jam Boyz and Team XXX, but can they overcome the talented duo of Espinosa and Hawkins?

New Match Added to Summer Chaos

Picture
Since his debut, Truk Thompson has proved himself a dominant force in AAPW. At "Summer Chaos" on June 30, he will face the challenge of another newcomer, Ben Boone.

This is a first-time match up pitting two of the Midwest's finest against each. Will Thompson continue to roll through the competition or will Boone score an impressive win in his AAPW debut?

For more information on this match, click here.

Controversial Match Announced by AAPW Owner

As decreed by owner Sean Chambers at the end of this weekend's "Collision," Mike Masters returns to AAPW for a Heavyweight Championship match against Edmund "Livewire" McGuire.

This move comes against the wishes of Executive Producer Chris Hagstrom, who had fired Masters in April after he assaulted a fan at a "Collision" taping.

Chambers will explain his decision on "All-Access" later this week. For more information on this match, click here.

Women's Wrestling returns June 30

Picture
Women's wrestling returns to AAPW at "Summer Chaos." The Great Cheyenne debuted on the "Collision" Season Two premiere in a losing effort to Stacey O'Brien.

This will be Serenity's AAPW debut. Both women will be looking for the big win in this contest.

First Match Announced for Summer Chaos

Picture
The issues between Heath Hatton and "Old School Warrior" Ax Allwardt have been boiling since the season premiere of "Collision."

They've played mind games with each other, and Allwardt has added physicality to their turmoil. At "Summer Chaos" on June 30, these two will meet one-on-one in the ring to settle the score.

Return Match Signed for Taping

Picture
On the latest episode of "Collision," Farmer Billy Hills scored the biggest win of his AAPW career, pinning "Old School Warrior" Ax Allwardt, albeit with a little help from Heath Hatton.

Now, Allwardt's on the warpath and demanding revenge. He gets a shot to earn his win back on May 19, when these two big men collide once again. Will fate tell a different story this time, or will Farmer continue moving up the ladder in the AAPW locker room?

Top Indy Prospects Face Off on May 19

Picture
As we noted earlier on our Facebook page, this past weekend was a big one for both Mike Sydal and Heath Hatton, two of the Midwest's rising stars, as Sydal appeared at Ring of Honor 's "Unity" event and Hatton competed at WWE's "Extreme Rules" pay-per-view.

Now, AAPW fans will be able to see just what they truly have to offer, as they go one on one at our May 19 "Collision" taping. Both men are fan favorites, but only one star will emerge victorious. But who will it be? Be there to find out.

Update Regarding Last Weekend's TV Taping

This morning, I received notification from our legal adviser that a settlement has been reached with the fan involved in the incident at last Saturday's event. As this remains a legal matter, I have been asked not to release the specifics of the settlement, but I can say that the involved fan has agreed to not pursue any further legal action against All American Pro Wrestling or Mike Masters.

The fan has been a long-time supporter of AAPW, and I appreciate his cooperation. This will enable us as a company to move on 100 percent with the planning of future events, including the May 19 "Collision" taping and June 30's "Summer Chaos."

The other decision reached this morning is one which will allow us to air previously recorded footage of Masters' matches and interviews this year on "Collision." Masters competed in the main event of our season premiere taping last month, and removing that footage would leave us with a hole in both television airtime and the stories unfolding this season.

In preemptive anticipation of inquiries about footage of the incident itself, I'm going to just be forthright and honest. Yes, we have permission to air that footage, but a decision has not been reached on whether or not we will. Thoughts of Saturday are still too fresh in my mind to make an unbiased decision in that regard. I will be making my decision on that issue in the coming weeks.

For now, though, I remain focused on making our May 19 "Collision" taping the best yet. We are moving ahead with business as usual, and we hope you'll stay with us as we do. Thank you to all of our fans for their patience, understanding and support this week. Your support is truly what keeps us going.

Tag Team Title Match Announced for May 19th Taping

Picture
Jay Spade and Joey O'Riley reformed Team XXX this season, and the duo are looking to make an immediate impact. Through events that will play out on upcoming episodes of "Collision," the young duo have earned a Tag Team Championship match against Team Overkill of Christian Rose and Matt Cage.

Can O'Riley and Spade win their first gold in AAPW, or will Team Overkill add another notch to their belt? Find out on Saturday, May 19, at the Black Diamond Harley-Davidson Warehouse.

A Letter from Executive Producer Chris Hagstrom

On behalf of everyone associated with All American Pro Wrestling, I would like to take this time to offer my sincere apologies for the events that took place at the end of our "Collision" taping on Saturday, April 21.

I have been advised not to discuss the details of the incident at this time. But a decision has been reached to terminate our relationship with wrestler Mike Masters. There's a fine line we walk in professional wrestling, and Mike Masters clearly crossed it. Protecting our fans is our number one priority, and unfortunately, we failed to do so in this instance. We will be adding to our security in the future and hope this won't deter fans from attending future AAPW events.

Our next two events will continue as planned on May 19 and June 30. More details will be available as soon as we are allowed to discuss them. I thank you for your patience and understanding as we try to move forward.

Christopher Hagstrom
AAPW Executive Producer

AAPW Originals Battle on April 21

Picture
NEW MATCH: With KC Jackson participating in the No Limits tournament, his tag team partner the Mississippi Madman is also pursuing a run at singles competition.

The first roadblock is his path, though, is a tough one, as the Madman will come face-to-face with Mark Sterling of the Kansas City Killers.

While Madman may have the size advantage, never count out Sterling's strength. These two will collide this Saturday at our next "Collision" taping.

Final No Limits First Round Match Announced

Picture
NEW MATCH: The fourth and final first-round match in the No Limits tournament will feature an AAPW veteran against a Midwestern star making his debut with the company. KC Jackson has won the AAPW Tag Team Championships on three separate occasions, but this is his chance to prove himself a worthy singles competitor.

Brandon Aarons has traveled the Midwest, earning a reputation as a strong- albeit cocky - competitor. These two will collide on Saturday, April 21, and only one of them will advance to the second round. Be there to find out who!

Returns and Debuts at Next Collision TV Taping

First Match Signed for April 21 TV Taping

Picture
NEW MATCH: With the card for Saturday's Hands Across Harrisburg benefit show announced, we turn our attention to April 21, the next "Collision" taping. Mike Sydal returned to AAPW in March, and at least one veteran wasn't happy about it. But then again, what is Mike Masters ever happy about?

The conniving one seems to have changed since being busted open with a chair shot in January, and now he's looking to inflict pain on anyone who stands in his way. Unfortunately for Sydal, that happens to be him. These two will collide in the ring on April 21 in a battle of youth vs. experience and speed vs. power. Who will come out on top? Be there in Marion to find out.

Final Match Announced for April 14

Picture
NEW MATCH: Since debuting, Justice has been no stranger to tough competition. But no matter his opponent, he's gone out, given his all and did his best for the fans. Now, David Osborne wants to step in his path.

Osborne hasn't been seen since the second episode of "Collision," but when he heard about Justice's immediate success, he wanted a chance to prove himself against one of AAPW's most popular acquisitions. These two will collide on Saturday, April 14, at Hands Across Harrisburg.

Tag Match Added to Hands Across Harrisburg

Picture
NEW MATCH: The tag team scene in AAPW continues to heat up in 2012. And at our Hands Across Harrisburg benefit show on Saturday, April 14, the rising stars of Brandon Espinosa and Ace Hawkins of Minor Threat will collide with the over-sized duo of Roscoe Dwayne Harris and Jimmy Wayne Faygo of The Convoy.

Can Minor Threat continue their ascension to the top, or will they fall victim to AAPW's resident big rigs?

Another Match Added for April 14

Picture
NEW MATCH: Many men have tried to stop the monstrous Bull Bronson, but every single one of them has come up short. When AAPW rolls into Harrisburg for our benefit show on April 14, "Farmer" Billy Hills will be the next man to try his hand at stopping the beast.

Will the fan favorite Farmer overcome the size and power of Bronson, or will he become the latest victim on the big man's path of destruction?

Huge Main Event Added to Hands Across Harrisburg

Picture
As announced last night on From the Rafters Radio, the AAPW Board of Directors has decided on a main event for the Hands Across Harrisburg benefit show. They decided that Norris City native and Harrisburg resident Heath Hatton deserves a chance to showcase his skills in front of a hometown crowd.

Hatton will face his good friend Edmund "Livewire" McGuire for the AAPW Heavyweight Championship. Will the support of his hometown crowd be enough to lead Hatton to the biggest win of his young career? Join us at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at the Saline County Fairgrounds to find out!

Another No Limits Match Signed for April 14

Picture
NEW MATCH: A second first-round No Limits tournament match has been confirmed for our Hands Across Harrisburg benefit show on April 14. This contest will pit Joey O'Riley of Team XXX against Christian Rose of Team Overkill.

Their respective partners, Jay Spade and Matt Cage, will also collide that afternoon. Will one team advance to the second round together, or will the winners be split? This match will be taped for "Collision," and it's one you really won't want to miss.

First Match Announced for Hands Across Harrisburg

Picture
MATCH ANNOUNCEMENT: On April 14, AAPW presents Hands Across Harrisburg, a special fundraiser for tornado victims. This isn't a throwaway show, however. At least two matches will be taped for airing on "Collision." The first is a first-round match in our No Limits tournament, announced at our March TV taping.

The bout will see AAPW Tag Team Champion Matt Cage of Team Overkill go up against Jay Spade of Team XXX. Can Spade find that win that's eluded him for the past year, or will Cage take the first step in adding more gold to his collection?

Fan Favorites Face Off at TV Taping

Picture
Fans will face a tough choice of who to cheer for when Team XXX of Jay Spade and Joey O'Riley face off with Brandon Espinosa and Ace Hawkins. All four men competed on the first season of "Collision" to varying degrees of success, but they're now looking to try their hands at tag team competition.

Team XXX hasn't competed together in AAPW in more than a year, and this will be the fans' first glimpse at Espinosa and Hawkins working together. Whoever comes out atop this contest will surely be positioning themselves well for a future tag team title opportunity. Be there March 17 to see which team will be climbing the ranks of AAPW.

Country vs. Old School on March 17

Picture
Two of AAPW's biggest competitors will collide when "Farmer" Billy Hills faces off with "Old School Warrior" Ax Allwardt.

The last fans saw of Allwardt, he was put down by AAPW Heavyweight Champion Edmund "Livewire" McGuire. Meanwhile, Farmer found mixed success since debuting in 2011, and he's looking to improve his record this year.

There's no doubt who the fans will be supporting come March 17's "Collision" taping, but will Farmer be able to overcome this old-school challenge? Be there to find out.

Tag Team Match Signed for TV Taping

Picture
The last time Jeremy Wyatt and Mark Sterling were in an AAPW ring, the fans were so riled up the duo needed a police escort out of town. Now, after a few years of being gone, the Kansas City Killers duo are coming back to AAPW.

Their first opponents will be a pair of the Midwest's fastest rising stars, Heath Hatton and Mike Sydal. Sydal, who has received numerous honors and awards for his abilities, hand-picked Hatton to join him in facing two men who helped train him and launch his career.

Will youth overcome experience in this tag team contest? The only way to find out will be to attend the March 17 "Collision" taping.

AAPW Heavyweight Title Situation Addressed

Picture
Fans in attendance at January's Main Event saw Pokerface assault AAPW Heavyweight Champion Edmund "Livewire" McGuire in an unsanctioned attack. Now, Pokerface has gone rogue, dodging calls from AAPW management.

Executive Producer Chris Hagstrom has plans to address the title situation when AAPW returns with the first "Collision" taping of Season Two on March 17.

Tag Team Titles on the Line at TV Taping

Picture
Matt Cage and Christian Rose weaseled their way out of a title defense at January's "Main Event," but AAPW officials are ensuring Team Overkill defend the titles at the first "Collision" taping of the year.

Their opponents will be the Money Makin' Jam Boyz of Mississippi Madman and KC Jackson, who won the right to a future title match in January. The Jam Boys are hoping to ride that momentum back to the top of the AAPW tag team division. Be there March 17 to find out if they'll be able to do so!

First Match Announced for March 17

Picture
Our final talent announcement is also our first match for our March 17 "Collision" taping. Stacey O'Brien debuted at "Main Event" in January, defeating long-time rival Rebecca Raze.

Now, O'Brien is returning to AAPW, but this time, she has a much bigger challenge on her hands. The debuting Great Cheyenne is a monstrous woman known to dominate all who step in her path. Can the "Boston Brawler" overcome the odds and keep her winning streak in tact?

AAPW Veteran and Rookie Confirmed for March 17

Picture
TALENT ANNOUNCEMENT: These two stars had very different years in 2011, but in 2012, they're both looking for the same thing: success. On March 17, at the first "Collision" taping of Season Two, Mike Masters and Bull Bronson will be returning to action.

Masters only won one match last year, cheating to defeat Jay Spade, before being defeated by Play-by-Play Commentator Kevin Hunsperger. Bronson, meanwhile, went the entire year without being pinned on television. Will March 17 mark the beginning of either man's climb to the top?

New Stars of Season 1 Return

Picture
TALENT ANNOUNCEMENT: Today we're pleased to announce two more superstars set to appear on our "Collision" Season Two premiere March 17. Both men made their AAPW debuts last year and won the support of the fans almost instantaneously.

Tag Teams Signed for Season 2 Premier

Picture
TALENT ANNOUNCEMENT: The tag team scene is really heating up in AAPW, and two more teams have signed on for our "Collision" taping on March 17. Coincidentally, they're two teams that were scheduled to face each other at "Main Event" in January.

Tag Team Match Added to Main Event

Picture
_
The tag team scene in AAPW has really been heating up in 2011. New champs were crowned in December, but they're using legal tactics to get out of their first scheduled defense.

So, instead, AAPW officials are offering two teams a chance to win an open contract for a tag team title shot in 2012. On Jan. 14, at Main Event, it will be the Money Makin' Jamboys of The Mississippi Madman and KC Jackson taking on The Convoy.

For details on this match and more, click here.

Anthony vs. Hatton Added to Main Event

Picture
_"Golden Boy" Greg Anthony has been a thorn in the side of Heath Hatton for much of 2011. In December, Anthony took their issues to the next level, as he cost Hatton the AAPW Tag Team Championships, which he was defending alone due to the absence of his partner Curly.

Now, these two will settle their issues once and for all at Jan. 14's Main Event. This match isn't about titles or championships; it's about finishing business that's been lingering all year.

For details on this match and the rest of the card, click here.

PAC vs. Generico Rivalry Continues at Main Event

Picture
_This is a big one, fans. Dragon Gate star PAC and Ring of Honor star El Generico may be friends outside the ring, but once they stepped into the squared circle, it's all about competition.

They've battled across the globe, leaving audiences stunned in every city in which they perform. Now, for the first - and almost certainly the last - time, they've bring their storied rivalry to Southern Illinois for AAPW Main Event on Jan. 14!

Women's Wrestling Returns at AAPW Main Event

With that in mind, officials sought out two of the best and most underrated talents the Midwest has to offer. On Jan. 14, Stacy O'Brien and Rebecca Raze will make their AAPW debuts when they collide at Main Event.

For details on this and other announced matches, click here.

Heavyweight Championship Match for Main Event

Picture
__As seen on Saturday's episode of "Collision," Ax Allwardt defeated the Mississippi Madman to earn one last match against AAPW Heavyweight Champion Edmund "Livewire" McGuire.

AAPW officials have deemed that with the level of animosity between the two competitors, this match will be contested under No Disqualification rules.

Will McGuire emerge victorious or will a new champion be crowned? Find out Jan. 14 at Main Event!

For more information on this and other matches, click here.

Next Match Announced for Main Event

Picture
_Since debuting in AAPW this January, Pokerface has run roughshod through the locker room, turning away every challenger put in his path. Now, the brash young star has issued an open challenge for Jan. 14's Main Event.

Will someone step up and put Pokerface in his place, or will he end 2011 undefeated in the AAPW ring? Who do you, our fans, think should answer the call?

For more information on this and other matches, click here.

First Matched Announced for Main Event

Picture
In August, "3G" Eric Wayne was scheduled to face Ring of Honor Champion Davey Richards, who was pulled from the show by Sinclair Broadcasting. He's since been demanding better competition, so at Main Event on Jan. 14, he'll face former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Colt "Boom Boom" Cabana!

BREAKING NEWS: OWNER/PROMOTER OF AAPW STEPS DOWN

Picture
Herrin, Ill. - Sean Chambers, Owner and Promoter of All American Pro Wrestling since its inception in October of 2006, has stated he is stepping down from his promoter position. AAPW Collision Executive Producer, Chris Hagstrom, will be taking over as event promoter.

Chambers made the announcement after the 5th Annual Benefit Show in Herrin, Ill. on October 8th. He states his personal and financial responsibilities are the reason for his decision. "Promoting wrestling events is a lot tougher than people think. It is very time consuming and there is financial risk. Lately, I have not had the time nor am I able to keep assuming the risk." says Chambers.

In late 2010, Chambers also gave up booking responsibilities when he named "The Golden Boy" Greg Anthony as booker. He feels that by having others take on some of the responsibilities, such as booking and promoting, they bring new ideas and hopefully increase attendance at events which has dropped drastically in 2011.

Chambers will retain ownership of the promotion and will assist Hagstrom in the transition. "Chris has put so much time and effort into the production of Collision, said Chambers. "He is very enthusiastic about the product. Maybe by taking a step back, Chris' enthusiasm will be contagious and will inspire me to once again take a more active role."

"I'm excited for this new opportunity," said Hagstrom. "It's been a dream of mine to be a major part of a wrestling organization and this past year I have been living out that dream. I fully believe in the talent that we have and the evolution of All American Pro Wrestling. I hope to help continue making AAPW the best promotion in the region and help in its expansion."

The next AAPW event will take place on Sunday October 23 at the Black Diamond Harley-Davidson Warehouse. Bell time is scheduled for 2pm. Tickets are available at Black Diamond Harley-Davidson or online at allamericanprowrestling.com.

AAPW Collision Now Available Online

Picture
After the successful debut of the first episode of All American Pro Wrestling's network television show, "AAPW Collision" is now available world wide!

AAPW and VIMEO, a professional video sharing site, have partnered together to bring "AAPW Collision" to a wider audience. Episodes will be loaded to AAPW's VIMEO account 1 week after their air date. These episodes will be available in both HD and SD depending on the speed of your internet connect.

"We have had such a huge demand for AAPW Collision to be available for viewers outside of the WSIL viewing area, it seemed silly to not make the episodes available online," said AAPW Executive Producer Chris Hagstrom. "Now fans around the world will see the future stars of the industry develop and everyone will know why All American Pro Wrestling is the #1 promotion in our region."

"AAPW Collision: Episode 1" is now available on VIMEO at the link at the bottom of this post. The next episode will air on WSIL-TV 3 Saturday September 10 beginning at noon. That episode will be available online the following week, Saturday September 17.
