Team XXX & Hatton Signed for March 17
TALENT ANNOUNCEMENT: We can now confirm that three more fan favorites have signed on for our March 17 "Collision" taping. Heath Hatton will return to action, but what's in store for the young star after putting away his rival "Golden Boy" Greg Anthony at Main Event?
Also, Jay Spade and Joey O'Riley will reprise Team XXX for the first time in "Collision" history. These two stars both had struggles in singles competition in Season One, but they're looking to turn that around in Season Two, and they'll start off doing it as a team.

Champions Announced for Season 2 Taping

AAPW Main Event Huge Success
This past Saturday's Main Event was the most hyped show in All American Pro Wrestling history.
Promoters, staff and wrestlers appeared in local media, international websites and Internet radio shows and podcasts to promote the event.
In the end, all the hype was justified, as AAPW presented a jam-packed supercard of sorts to a record-breaking crowd of 405 screaming fans.
And on that night - one featuring international superstars, the return of women's wrestling and more - history was made in the AAPW ring.

Tag Team Match Added to Main Event
The tag team scene in AAPW has really been heating up in 2011. New champs were crowned in December, but they're using legal tactics to get out of their first scheduled defense.
So, instead, AAPW officials are offering two teams a chance to win an open contract for a tag team title shot in 2012. On Jan. 14, at Main Event, it will be the Money Makin' Jamboys of The Mississippi Madman and KC Jackson taking on The Convoy.

Anthony vs. Hatton Added to Main Event
"Golden Boy" Greg Anthony has been a thorn in the side of Heath
Hatton for much of 2011. In December, Anthony took their issues to the
next level, as he cost Hatton the AAPW Tag Team Championships, which he
was defending alone due to the absence of his partner Curly.
Now, these two will settle their issues once and for all at Jan. 14's Main Event. This match isn't about titles or championships; it's about finishing business that's been lingering all year.

Women's Wrestling Returns at AAPW Main Event
The
AAPW fans have spoken. A fan survey conducted at Fan Fest showed an
overwhelming desire to see women's wrestling return to AAPW.
With that in mind, officials sought out two of the best and most underrated talents the Midwest has to offer. On Jan. 14, Stacy O'Brien and Rebecca Raze will make their AAPW debuts when they collide at Main Event.

AAPW to Rumble with X-Pac
ST LOUIS, MO - Professional wrestling fans in Southern Illinois have the opportunity to party with former WWE superstar Sean Waltman the night before the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in St. Louis.
All American Pro Wrestling has partnered with Waltman to promote a "Rumble VIP Party" from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Europe Night Club in St. Louis. The idea stems from a successful event hosted by Waltman and his friend Kevin Nash during WrestleMania weekend in Atlanta earlier this year.

Herrin, Ill. - Sean Chambers, Owner and Promoter of All American Pro Wrestling since its inception in October of 2006, has stated he is stepping down from his promoter position. AAPW Collision Executive Producer, Chris Hagstrom, will be taking over as event promoter.
Chambers made the announcement after the 5th Annual Benefit Show in Herrin, Ill. on October 8th. He states his personal and financial responsibilities are the reason for his decision. "Promoting wrestling events is a lot tougher than people think. It is very time consuming and there is financial risk. Lately, I have not had the time nor am I able to keep assuming the risk." says Chambers.
In late 2010, Chambers also gave up booking responsibilities when he named "The Golden Boy" Greg Anthony as booker. He feels that by having others take on some of the responsibilities, such as booking and promoting, they bring new ideas and hopefully increase attendance at events which has dropped drastically in 2011.
Chambers will retain ownership of the promotion and will assist Hagstrom in the transition. "Chris has put so much time and effort into the production of Collision, said Chambers. "He is very enthusiastic about the product. Maybe by taking a step back, Chris' enthusiasm will be contagious and will inspire me to once again take a more active role."
"I'm excited for this new opportunity," said Hagstrom. "It's been a dream of mine to be a major part of a wrestling organization and this past year I have been living out that dream. I fully believe in the talent that we have and the evolution of All American Pro Wrestling. I hope to help continue making AAPW the best promotion in the region and help in its expansion."
